European downstream oil industry safety performance: Statistical summary of reported incidents – 2003

Report no. 11/04: The tenth such report by CONCAWE, this issue includes statistical work accident data for the downstream oil industry’s own employees as well as contractors for the year 2003. Data was received from 18 companies representing over 80% of the European refining capacity.

Trends over the last eleven years are highlighted and the data is also compared to similar statistics from related industries as well as general EU figures.
