Webinar: Recent Work of ECETOC Task Force: Moving Persistence (P) Assessments into the 21st Century

Persistence is an important element of chemical management and regulations to protect health and the environment. Environmental persistence is controlled by many factors that complicate the development and interpretation of high-quality data, and the integrated evaluation of these data in formal assessments. An ECETOC Task Force has been formed to summarize recent advances in experimental design, and to begin developing weight of evidence (WoE) approaches for using multiple lines of evidence to support persistence assessments based on the advancing state of the science.
The objective of this webinar is to report on this recent work at ECETOC and to receive input from key stakeholders to support effective chemical management activities.
